I am Antonio Stoilkov and I love the new technologies, any kind of hardware or software. I love the i7s, the new graphics cards and the 3D vision, 3D TVs, USB 3.0, DDR3 and SSDs. Flash Player 10.1 and AIR redefined the web and the desktop environment. HTML5 and CSS3 will make the web new exciting place, visually more attractive and visible by the search engines. For the last couple of weeks I have been experimenting with these new technologies and I am excited as I have never been. HTML5 can do things that even with tons of JavaScript you would never be able to do and presents more rapid way of an application development. While I was working with CSS3 I noticed something very interesting – you can do easier and faster some of the interactions and animations but there is another type of interactions and animations that in libraries like jQuery, MooTools and so on exist like tons of JavaScript and most of the developers would never make the effort to design them. So my opinion for the whole CSS3 story is that we could make a little effort to make it more famous and that's how we'll rush a little the browsers further updates. And this is why I made this kind of showcase. Finally I just want to say that I am extremely happy to see that some web sites are making the step to CSS3 with little changes and that's how we'll make the future happen.
